Operation Manager-Africa
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to support our expansion across Africa. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading all operational aspects of the business to ensure growth, efficiency, and profitability. This role involves overseeing teams, driving recruitment and training, preparing reports and budgets, and monitoring performance across the region.
The ideal candidate will be a strong multitasker, an independent leader, and a problem solver with excellent people management and strategic skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Head Office; prepare and present quarterly and annual reports.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff across multiple markets.
- Research target markets thoroughly and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Monitor staff performance; coordinate and schedule training as needed.
- Implement and maintain brand consistency across all operations.
- Foster strong relationships with staff, clients, and partners.
- Ensure a positive image of the company at all times.
- Lead marketing, business development, and operational execution in the assigned region.
Specialist Skills & Experience
- Industry Expertise: Online sports betting, casino gaming, or telecommunications.
- Experience: Proven track record as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role in Africa.
- Business Development: Strong experience in marketing and growing market share.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the African market(s) with a passion for learning and adapting.
- Management: Minimum 5 years managing marketing or operational teams.
- Customer Focus: Committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Data-Driven: Analytical mindset with strong reporting and decision-making skills.
- Sport Passion: Passion for sports is a plus.
- International Experience: Experience living and working abroad is advantageous.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to navigate and respect different cultural norms.
