Relationship Manager
We are hiring an MNO Relationship Manager to lead relationships with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) across key African markets.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Development, you will be responsible for building strategic MNO partnerships and driving Mobile Money integrations from initial engagement through to go live. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure partners deliver the requirements needed to successfully launch and scale across target markets.
This is a hands-on role focused on execution, relationship management, and delivering live integrations.
YOUR IMPACT
Build and manage relationships with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) across Africa.
Drive Mobile Money partnerships from first conversation through to successful go live.
Work with MNO partners to secure API credentials, wallets, documentation, and other integration requirements.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver integrations and resolve blockers.
Track partnership progress, manage timelines, and ensure successful launches.
Represent the company in meetings, workshops, and industry events.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
4 years of experience working with payments.
1-2 years of experience working with MNOs (Mobile Money providers).
Fluent in English or French
Understanding of Mobile Money, APIs, USSD, STK, and payment integrations.
Proven ability to manage partnerships and drive projects to completion.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Willingness to travel frequently across Africa.
NICE TO HAVE
Existing relationships with MTN, Airtel, Orange, Vodacom, Safaricom, or similar MNOs.
Experience in emerging markets.
Fluent in Portuguese or Swahili.
