B2Tech seeks a Mid-Level Finance Officer to analyze financial information, liaise with Marketing Department, and audit expense entries. The individual should be able to monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will be crucial in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Audit marketing department activity on a daily basis to ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget, while supporting performance analysis and financial accuracy.

• Monitor and implement internal controls related to marketing expenses and financial reporting.

• Analyze financial data and follow up on budget variances, liaising with marketing stakeholders and management.

• Assist the FP&A team with the budgetary process, providing insights into marketing expense trends and cost drivers.

• Support the streamlining of central accounting functions and marketing-related processes, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

• Liaise with central accounting to ensure that marketing charges, invoices, and allocations follow agreed terms and internal policies.

• Evaluate and manage financial and operational risks related to marketing expenditure.

• Coordinate audit processes related to marketing activities and spending.

• Create and implement policies and procedures related to finance processes, where needed.

• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to finance, marketing operations, reporting, and process improvement.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years experience as Finance Officer / Auditor / Internal Auditor.

• Proven experience in Auditing for a variety of industries, focusing on the Marketing Department.

• Good communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

OUR PREFERENCES:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or partially qualified/MSc degree in Finance or equivalent would be considered as an advantage.

• Familiarity with AI tools.

• Business partnering experience in large organizations and experience of working with non-Finance colleagues.

• Experience working in a corporate environment and the compliance and governance required.

• Project management skills.

• Experience in collaborating with various teams and stakeholders (finance and otherwise).
