B2Tech is looking for a Product Manager (Payments) to join our Product team. This role will focus on payment flows supporting our betting platform, working closely with engineering, operations, and payment providers to improve payment performance and integrations.

The Product Manager will be responsible for managing payment-related product initiatives from requirements definition to production delivery, ensuring a reliable and efficient payment experience for users.

This position works closely with the Product Lead, who owns the strategic direction of the PayAlo payment platform, while this role focuses on execution, integrations, operational improvements, and performance analysis of payment flows.

YOUR IMPACT

• Define and manage product requirements and user stories for payment-related features.

• Work closely with engineering teams using Jira and Confluence to manage the product backlog and development lifecycle.

• Prepare requirements and support integrations with new payment providers and payment methods.

• Maintain up-to-date product documentation and specifications.

• Monitor and analyze payment traffic, success rates, and processing performance to identify issues and improvement opportunities.

• Investigate payment incidents and coordinate resolution with engineering, providers, and operations teams.

• Communicate with payment providers, MNOs, and external partners when required.

• Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates and user experience.

• Execute payment initiatives defined within the product roadmap and ensure successful delivery to production.

• Support implementation of features that optimize transaction flows, reliability, and scalability.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably in payments, fintech, or iGaming environments.

• Proven experience working with payment systems, payment integrations, or payment flows, ideally within high-risk industries such as iGaming, betting, forex, or fintech.

• Experience with Agile product delivery, particularly in Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence.

• Experience writing product requirements, user stories, and maintaining product documentation.

• Experience analyzing payment traffic, transaction success rates, and identifying opportunities to improve payment performance.

• A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate payment incidents and performance issues.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with engineering teams, payment providers, and stakeholders.

• Ability to drive initiatives forward and ensure delivery in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with high-risk payment ecosystems and alternative payment methods, especially in Africa, is considered a strong advantage.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
