Trading Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Trading Operations Analyst to join our Risk and Trading Department This role is critical to ensuring accurate pricing, effective risk management, and smooth trading operations across pre-match and live betting environments.

The ideal candidate brings strong sportsbook expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-volume markets.

YOUR IMPACT:

Trading & Odds Management

  • Monitor and manage pre-match and live odds across multiple sports, with a strong focus on football

  • Ensure pricing accuracy and margin optimization in line with market conditions

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve pricing discrepancies or market anomalies

Risk & Exposure Control

  • Monitor liabilities and exposure by event, market, and customer segment

  • Identify abnormal betting patterns and escalate potential risk issues

  • Support the adjustment of limits, margins, and market availability to protect profitability

Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Benchmark odds, margins, and market coverage against key competitors

  • Track competitor promotions, bonuses, and pricing behavior

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve competitiveness and market positioning

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure timely opening, suspension, and settlement of markets

  • Coordinate closely with Trading, Risk, Technology, Payments, and Customer Support teams

  • Manage and document trading incidents, including voids, delays, and technical issues

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance reports

  • Analyze turnover, margin, GGR, and player behavior trends

  • Deliver actionable insights to support trading and commercial decisions

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

Experience

  • 3–6+ years of experience in sportsbook trading or trading operations

  • Proven experience with live betting environments

  • Background in regulated or emerging markets is an advantage

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

  • Solid understanding of odds formats, probabilities, margins, and risk principles

  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus

Domain Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of football betting markets and common sportsbook products

  • Knowledge of sportsbook and iGaming cross-sell dynamics

Soft Skills

  • High attention to detail and operational discipline

  • Ability to work under pressure during live events

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
