We’re looking for a Lead QA . This role is perfect for a strong senior QA (5+ years) who can test like a pro, lead a small team with confidence, and raise the overall quality bar across our products.

You will spend ~80% of your time doing hands-on testing and ~20% leading 4–5 QA engineers, coaching them, reviewing work, and ensuring we deliver consistently high-quality releases.

What You’ll Do

Hands-On (80%)

• Perform manual testing across mobile, desktop, and web platforms.

• Test multiple devices, including Android, iOS, desktop browsers, and POS terminals.

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and integration testing.

• Validate payment flows, gaming flows, and other high-risk areas.

• Test USSD applications / flows.

• Reproduce and investigate issues found in production environments.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams.

• Ensure test coverage is aligned with product requirements and risks.

Leadership (20%)

• Lead a local QA team of 4–5 engineers.

• Perform test plan reviews, test case reviews, and align quality standards.

• Mentor team members and help them grow in skills and ownership.

• Organize workflows, daily priorities, and cross-team communication.

• Improve testing processes, documentation, and quality metrics.

• Participate in release readiness and quality gates.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of QA experience in manual testing.

• Experience testing mobile, desktop, and cross-platform systems.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and release processes.

• Experience testing devices (e.g., POS terminals, card readers, hardware-integrated systems).

• Ability to lead and mentor a small team.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in gaming, iGaming, betting, or high-volume transactional systems.

• Experience with USSD testing.

• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

• Familiarity with SQL for root-cause checks.

• Experience working in fast-paced, distributed teams.
