We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data quality checks, building monitoring tools, identifying inconsistencies, and working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure and improve overall data quality across our systems.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Perform comprehensive data quality checks and conduct root cause analysis for identified issues.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to validate data across multiple sources and systems.
• Detect and analyze data anomalies, gaps, and trends, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define and refine validation rules and enhance data pipeline reliability.
• Maintain thorough documentation of data quality processes, issue logs, findings, and resolutions.
• Automate data validation and monitoring processes using SQL, Python, or data quality/QA tools.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and align quality standards with business needs.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data quality analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and ETL testing.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts; experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly document and present findings.
