B2Tech seeks a Finance Officer to analyze financial information, liaise with local operations, and audit expense entries. The individual should be able to monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will be crucial in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Audit operations activity on a daily basis relating to revenue and expenses.
• Match daily wallet balances with the cash flow reports.
• Monitoring internal controls.
• Ensure proper filing & processing of the local operations’ monthly reporting package.
• Analyze financial data and follow up on variances in the budget liaising with local management.
• Assisting the FP&A team with the budgetary process, bringing insights into expenses trends.
• Streamline central accounting functions and local operations, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Liaise with central accounting to ensure that charges follow the agreement terms.
• Evaluate and manage risk.
• Coordinate audit processes.
• Participate in quarterly physical audits of local operations.
• Create and implement policies and procedures, if needed.
• Participate in Ad-hoc projects.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years experience as Finance Officer / Auditor / Internal Auditor.
• Proven experience in Auditing for a variety of industries.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

OUR PREFERENCES:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or partially qualified/MSc degree in Finance or equivalent would be considered as an advantage.
• Familiarity with PowerBi tools.
• Business partnering experience in large organizations and experience of working with non-Finance colleagues.
• Experience working in a corporate environment and the compliance and governance required.
• Project management skills.
• Experience in collaborating with various teams and stakeholders (finance and otherwise).
